Hyatt Award Chart Changes

Hyatt has announced their award chart changes for 2025. Every year Hyatt adjusts the category for hotels, moving them up or down. Which, in turn, makes them cost more or less points. While most the changes result in paying more points, Hyatt still remains the best hotel chain when it comes to getting the most value out of your points!

Here are the Details:

  • How many properties were impacted?

    • 151 (118 hotels are moving up to a higher category and 33 are moving down to a lower category)

  • When will the changes take effect?

    • 8:00 a.m. CT on March 25, 2025

  • What if I make a reservation before March 25?

    • You will lock in the current rate

  • What if I already have a stay booked at a hotel that’s moving down a category?

    • You’ll receive an automatic refund after March 25

  • What if I make changes to a reservation with the current rates?

    • Any changes made will result in being charged the new (higher) rate

The off-peak, standard, and peak point values for each category are not changing, and the points per category are listed below:
