The Hyatt Regency Coral Gables
On our trip to Miami to see Taylor Swift we stayed at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables. It is a Category 4 hotel which means is in 12,000 points off peak, 15,000 points standard and 18,000 points in peak season. The cash rate when we stayed there was $392 a night.
Location
Approximately 15 minutes from the car rental terminal at the Miami Airport
Walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops in Giralda Plaza
Hotel
The hotel is Mediterranean style. A beautfiul 2 story marble lobby
The hotel has a bar, a restaurant, a 24 hr market with fresh salads sandwiches and snacks, and a coffee shop
Two Sisters is the breakfast restaurant. You can choose from a buffet or the menu. My daughter got the buffet (she ate mostly cereal, muffins and fruit.) I ordered the Avocado Toast each day and was very impressed. It came with a side of fruit
The rooms were clean and cozy. We had the room with two double beds and a balcony.
Globalist Perks
My globalist status came with free breakfast every day for my daughter and I, a $15 daily bar credit and free valet parking.
Bottom Line
I would definitely stay here again! I loved the Mediterranean feel of this hotel and the town itself!! The town was clean and safe, I felt comfortable walking around at night just my daughter and I. There is a cute trolley that runs throughout the town. It was super close to the airport which makes it ideal. It is not close to the beach, so if your’e looking for a beach vacation, this may not be your spot. I look forward to returning here one day with the whole family.
